The NIA Filter is a slipstream filtration unit that removes solids/fines down to the 10-micron level. The primary benefit of the NIA Filter is the ability to keep the frying oil in good condition on a continuous basis. With fine filtration, the NIA Filter will be able to extend the life of the frying oil, in some cases indefinitely.
The ability to filter down to 10 micron is the primary reason the NIA Filter is so effective. This filter efficiency has been shown to:
1) Maintain A Consistent Color – maintain the “perfect” color from 6am to midnight.
2) Elimination of Free Fatty Acids – Slow the growth of FFA’s to catch up with turnover
3) Remove spices/flavorings from oil
4) Smoking/Scorching and off-flavors will never be an issue
5) Reduce the frequency of cleaning/boil-outs
6) Change oil type to a less expensive, less stable oil. The OilSaver will keep the less stable oil in good condition.
Another benefit of the NIA Filter is the ability to dry the solids/sediment that are removed from the fryer. The NIA Filter has a drying sequence that forces every last drop of cooking oil from the “cake” and back to the fryer
